How to Use Bonide Sulfur Plant Fungicide Dust
As a Dust:
Apply a light, even coating to affected plant surfaces. Cover both the tops and undersides of leaves where disease or pests may be present.
As a Spray:
Mix with water according to label directions and apply with a garden sprayer. For some foliar treatments on roses and shrubs, label-style guidance may call for approximately 2 1/4 tablespoons per gallon of water, but always confirm the exact rate for your plant and target issue on the product label.
Apply Preventatively or at First Signs of Disease:
For best results, begin applications before disease becomes severe or when early symptoms first appear.
Temperature Warning:
Do not apply when temperatures are above 85°F or when plants are heat- or drought-stressed, as sulfur may cause leaf burn under poor conditions.
Oil Spray Warning:
Do not apply sulfur within 2 weeks of using horticultural oil or oil-based sprays, as the combination may damage plants.
Harvest Timing:
When used as directed, this product may be used on many labeled fruits and vegetables up to the day of harvest.
Always read and follow the product label before use, including plant listings, disease and pest targets, mixing rates, animal-use directions, temperature restrictions, oil-spray precautions, and harvest guidance.
