How to Use Wiggle Worm Soil Builder
Vegetables and Annual Flowers
Line planting holes or seed furrows with 1–2 inches of castings before adding seeds or plants. For established plants, side-dress with approximately 1/2 cup per plant every two months during the growing season.
Containers and Houseplants
For new potting mixes, combine 1 part Wiggle Worm castings with 4 parts soil. For established container plants, apply approximately 1 inch to the soil surface, gently mix without damaging shallow roots and water thoroughly. Repeat every two to three months.
Perennials
Work approximately 1/2 cup into the soil above the root zone. Apply during spring, early summer and early fall.
Roses, Trees, Shrubs and Berries
For new plantings, blend 1 part castings with 3 parts soil and place the mixture around the planting hole. For established trees and shrubs, spread over the root area and water thoroughly.
Lawns
For new lawns, apply 20–30 pounds per 1,000 square feet and work lightly into the topsoil before seeding. For established lawns, apply 15–20 pounds per 1,000 square feet as a top dressing two or three times per year.
Worm Casting Tea
Combine 1 part castings with 3 parts water and steep for 12–24 hours. Aerate if possible, stir well and apply as a root drench. For best results, use the finished casting tea within 24 hours.
Storage: Keep the package closed and store it in a dry location. Follow the application directions printed on the product label.
I use this product when I make up soil mixes for all my seeds and seedlings..
This stuff is sooooo easy to use. It wont cause burn and helps with transplant shock. Has no smell(a lot of gardening supplies are not nose friendly) just what any plant needs to give it that gentle push for growth.
