Emerald Harvest Cali Pro Bloom B 1-4-6 is the phosphorus-, potassium-, magnesium-, and sulfur-rich Part B component of the professional Cali Pro two-part flowering nutrient system. It works with Cali Pro Bloom A to provide balanced base nutrition for vigorous flowering, fruit development, ripening, and high-yield crop performance.

Bloom B supplies the elevated phosphorus and potassium demanded during reproductive growth, while magnesium and sulfur support chlorophyll, enzyme activity, protein formation, and continued plant metabolism. Its concentrated mineral formula is designed for use in equal amounts with Cali Pro Bloom A.

Important: This Listing Is for Bloom B Only

This product listing includes Emerald Harvest Cali Pro Bloom B only.

Cali Pro Bloom A is required to create the complete two-part flowering nutrient program and is sold separately. Bloom B is not intended to provide complete base nutrition by itself.

Always use equal amounts of Bloom A and Bloom B according to the Emerald Harvest feeding chart.

Key Benefits

  • Flowering-stage nutrition: Supplies essential phosphorus and potassium for budding, flowering, fruiting, and ripening.
  • High-potassium formula: Supports water regulation, nutrient movement, carbohydrate transport, and plant metabolism.
  • Phosphorus support: Contributes to energy transfer, root activity, flower formation, and reproductive development.
  • Magnesium nutrition: Supports chlorophyll production, photosynthesis, and numerous enzyme processes.
  • Sulfur support: Contributes to protein formation, enzyme activity, and essential plant compounds.
  • Balanced two-part design: Complements the calcium, nitrogen, potassium, and micronutrients supplied by Bloom A.
  • Equal-part simplicity: Bloom A and Bloom B are measured at matching rates throughout the flowering schedule.
  • Hydroponic compatibility: Suitable for growing media used in recirculating and drain-to-waste systems.
  • Productive crop performance: Provides stage-specific mineral nutrition for plants carrying developing flowers and fruit.

Nutrient Sources

Cali Pro Bloom B is derived from:

  • Monopotassium phosphate
  • Potassium nitrate
  • Magnesium nitrate
  • Magnesium sulfate

These mineral sources supply the phosphorus, potassium, magnesium, sulfur, and nitrate nitrogen that complement the calcium and micronutrient package provided by Cali Pro Bloom A.

How Bloom B Supports Flowering Plants

Each component of Bloom B performs an important role during flowering and fruit production:

  • Phosphorus: Supports energy transfer, root activity, flower formation, and reproductive development.
  • Potassium: Supports water movement, nutrient transport, carbohydrate translocation, enzyme activity, and crop quality.
  • Magnesium: Forms the central atom of chlorophyll and supports photosynthesis throughout flowering.
  • Sulfur: Contributes to proteins, enzymes, and other essential plant compounds.
  • Nitrate nitrogen: Provides a controlled amount of nitrogen to support continued plant metabolism without turning Bloom B into a vegetative formula.

Bloom B provides only part of the required nutrient profile. Bloom A must be used with it to supply complementary calcium and micronutrients.

Why Bloom A and Bloom B Are Separate

Bloom A contains concentrated calcium, while Bloom B contains concentrated phosphorus and sulfur sources. Combining the undiluted concentrates can cause these minerals to react and form insoluble deposits.

Keeping the components separate maintains concentrate stability during storage. Once Bloom A has been diluted thoroughly into water, Bloom B can be added safely to create the complete nutrient solution.

Never mix undiluted Bloom A and Bloom B directly together.

Official Application Rates

Use equal amounts of Cali Pro Bloom A and Cali Pro Bloom B:

  • Flowering Week 1 – Transition: Continue using Cali Pro Grow A and Grow B according to the chart. Do not apply Bloom A or Bloom B yet.
  • Flowering Weeks 2–3 – Early Flowering: Use 5 mL of Bloom A and 5 mL of Bloom B per gallon.
  • Flowering Weeks 4–5 – Mid Flowering: Use 6 mL of Bloom A and 6 mL of Bloom B per gallon.
  • Flowering Weeks 6–7 – Late Flowering: Use 6 mL of Bloom A and 6 mL of Bloom B per gallon.
  • Flowering Week 8 – Ripening: Use 6 mL of Bloom A and 6 mL of Bloom B per gallon.
  • Flowering Week 9 – Final Ripening: Reduce to 1 mL of Bloom A and 1 mL of Bloom B per gallon.

To extend the flowering phase, Emerald Harvest recommends repeating one or more mid-flowering weeks. Monitor plant response, source-water quality, EC or PPM, and growing conditions throughout the feeding program.

Correct Mixing Instructions

  1. Shake both nutrient containers thoroughly before measuring.
  2. Fill the reservoir or watering container with fresh water.
  3. Add the measured amount of Cali Pro Bloom A first.
  4. Mix thoroughly until Bloom A is completely dispersed.
  5. Add an equal amount of Cali Pro Bloom B.
  6. Mix thoroughly again.
  7. Add compatible supplements individually, stirring between each addition.
  8. Check the completed solution’s EC or PPM and pH before feeding.

Never add Bloom B before Bloom A, and never combine the undiluted concentrates.

Water Temperature and pH

Emerald Harvest recommends:

  • Nutrient-solution temperature: 60–72°F
  • Final pH after mixing: 5.8–6.3

Add Bloom A, Bloom B, and any compatible supplements before making final pH adjustments. Apply pH adjusters gradually and test the solution between additions.

Transitioning From Cali Pro Grow

Cali Pro Grow A and Grow B support vegetative growth and the initial flowering transition. According to the current Emerald Harvest feeding chart, growers switch to Cali Pro Bloom A and Bloom B beginning in flowering week two.

Do not use Bloom B during vegetative growth or as a substitute for Cali Pro Grow B. Each formula is designed for a different stage of plant development.

Growing Media and System Compatibility

Cali Pro Bloom A and Bloom B are suitable for growing media used in:

  • Recirculating hydroponic systems
  • Drain-to-waste systems
  • Coco coir
  • Rockwool
  • Deep water culture
  • Flood-and-drain systems
  • Drip irrigation and fertigation
  • Other hydroponic and soilless applications

Adjust nutrient strength according to plant variety, source water, growing medium, environmental conditions, and system design.

Using It With Emerald Harvest Supplements

Cali Pro Bloom A and Bloom B can be incorporated into an Emerald Harvest flowering program with products such as Emerald Goddess, King Kola, Honey Chome, Root Wizard, Cal-Mag, and Sturdy Stalk.

Follow the applicable feeding chart and monitor total EC or PPM when combining multiple products. Emerald Harvest recommends applying Cal-Mag and Sturdy Stalk on water-only days and not using both during the same watering.
