Down To Earth Rock Phosphate 0-3-0 Organic Phosphorus Fertilizer
Down To Earth Rock Phosphate 0-3-0 is an all-natural, slow-release organic fertilizer that provides a long-lasting source of phosphorus and calcium to support strong root growth, improved flowering, and better fruit production. Sourced from natural marine sedimentary deposits, this untreated mineral amendment gradually builds soil fertility over time and is especially useful for gardens, raised beds, orchards, flowering plants, and heavy-feeding vegetables.
With its gentle 0-3-0 formula plus 18% calcium, Down To Earth Rock Phosphate helps encourage vigorous root development, sturdy plant structure, blossom formation, and long-term soil phosphate levels. Because it is not water-soluble, it releases slowly and stays in the soil longer, making it an excellent choice for building healthy organic garden soil season after season.
Key Benefits
Natural Source of Phosphorus
Phosphorus supports strong root development, early plant establishment, flowering, fruiting, and overall plant energy transfer.
Calcium-Rich Soil Amendment
Contains 18% calcium to help support strong cell walls, healthy plant structure, and proper calcium levels in the soil.
Slow-Release & Long-Lasting
Rock phosphate gradually breaks down in the soil, helping build phosphorus availability over time without quickly leaching away.
Great for Blooms, Roots & Fruit Production
Ideal for vegetables, fruiting crops, bulbs, flowers, trees, shrubs, perennials, and long-term garden soil improvement.
OMRI Listed for Organic Gardening
Approved for organic production and suitable for use in organic gardens, raised beds, containers, compost blends, and landscape plantings.
How to Use Down To Earth Rock Phosphate
For best results, mix Rock Phosphate directly into soil, compost, or potting mixes before planting.
New Gardens:
Blend 2.5–5 lbs per 100 square feet into the top 3 inches of soil.
New Transplants:
Mix 1/4 cup into each planting hole before transplanting and water thoroughly.
Established Plants:
Side-dress 1/4 to 1/2 cup per plant in spring or fall to support flowering and fruiting.
Container Plants:
Mix 1/4 cup per gallon of soil.
Rock phosphate works best when incorporated into the soil rather than left on the surface. Always follow the product label and consider a soil test before adding phosphorus amendments.
