Cutting Edge Solutions Plant Amp is a highly bioavailable liquid calcium supplement formulated to support nutrient processing, cell-wall development, plant structure, and healthy new growth. It supplies 1% calcium derived from calcium chloride and uses organic acids to help make calcium available within the root zone.
Plant Amp can be used throughout the plant life cycle in hydroponics, coco coir, soil, soilless media, drain-to-waste systems, and recirculating reservoirs. It is also suitable as a foliar spray during vegetative growth and transition.

Reservoir Feeding
Mix 10 mL of Plant Amp per gallon of water. It may be used during all phases of plant growth.
Injection Feeding
For commercial injection systems, set the ratio to 1:375 or 0.26%.
Foliar Application
Mix 5 mL per gallon of water and apply during vegetative growth or transition. Spray under cool conditions with grow lights off, test a small area first, and avoid spraying developing flowers.
Critical Mixing and pH Instructions
- Begin with fresh water.
- If using Bulletproof Si, add it first, mix thoroughly, and wait approximately five minutes.
- Add Micro next, followed by the remaining base nutrients and supplements. Mix thoroughly between every product.
- Measure and make any necessary pH adjustments before adding Plant Amp.
- Add Plant Amp last and mix thoroughly.
- Do not add pH Up simply to correct the temporary low reading caused by Plant Amp.
Why Does Plant Amp Lower pH?
Plant Amp contains organic acids that can produce a sharp but temporary decrease in measured solution pH. These acids help make calcium available in the root zone. Cutting Edge Solutions advises that the pH will naturally rise as plants absorb the complexed calcium, generally within one to two days.
Do not chase this temporary pH drop with additional pH Up. Excessive correction can cause the solution or root-zone pH to rise too high once the temporary effect subsides.
Important: Plant Amp is a targeted calcium supplement, not a complete base fertilizer. It does not replace a calcium-and-magnesium product when additional magnesium is also required. Use it alongside an appropriate nutrient program and monitor plant response.
