Improve incoming air quality with the AC Infinity 8-Inch Duct Air Filter Box. Designed for use with inline duct fans, this durable filtration housing helps prevent airborne dust, dirt, lint, and other fine particles from entering homes, workshops, grow rooms, HVAC systems, and other ventilated spaces.

The filter box includes a removable high-efficacy pleated filter and accepts widely available 14 x 20 x 1-inch replacement filters. Dual 8-inch aluminum duct flanges allow it to connect directly to matching ductwork and compatible AC Infinity CLOUDLINE inline fans.

High-Efficacy Intake Filtration

Positioning the filter box at the intake end of a ventilation system helps capture airborne contaminants before they enter the room, fan, or downstream ductwork.

The included pleated filter is designed to capture small airborne particles, including:

AC Infinity states that the included high-efficacy filter targets particles within the 0.3-to-1.0-micron range. Actual filtration performance and airflow resistance may vary when a different replacement filter is installed.

Durable Steel Construction

The filter housing is constructed from 1 mm cold-rolled steel and finished with a protective matte-black powder coating. Aluminum duct flanges provide secure connection points for compatible 8-inch ducting, inline fans, clamps, and ventilation accessories.

Fast, Tool-Free Filter Access

A hinged access door with a slide-lock closure provides convenient access to the internal filter compartment. This allows the filter to be inspected, cleaned when appropriate, or replaced without disassembling the surrounding duct system.

Soft neoprene lining helps hold the filter securely in position while creating a closer seal around the access door to reduce unfiltered air and dust leakage.

Standard Replacement-Filter Compatibility

The internal compartment accepts standard 14 x 20 x 1-inch filters. This gives users the flexibility to select a replacement filter appropriate for their airflow and filtration requirements.

Higher-efficiency replacement filters generally create more airflow resistance, so fan capacity and filter condition should be considered when configuring the system.

Ventilation System Integration

The 8-inch duct connections are compatible with AC Infinity CLOUDLINE S8 and CLOUDLINE T8 inline fans, as well as appropriately sized 8-inch ducting components.

AC Infinity recommends using a high-static-pressure inline fan to overcome resistance created by the pleated filter and maintain effective airflow. The fan, ducting, clamps, and mounting hardware are sold separately unless otherwise specified.

Important Use Note

This product is primarily an intake-air particulate filter box. It should not be confused with an activated-carbon filter designed specifically for intensive odor, chemical, or VOC adsorption.

For applications requiring dedicated odor control, pair the ventilation system with an appropriately sized activated-carbon filter.

Installation Guidance

1. Select an accessible location near the intake end of the duct system.

2. Confirm that airflow will pass through the filter before reaching the inline fan or occupied space.

3. Connect compatible 8-inch ducting or an 8-inch inline fan to the aluminum flanges.

4. Secure each connection with appropriately sized duct clamps and foil HVAC tape.

5. Check that the filter is seated evenly inside the internal compartment.

6. Close and lock the access door before operating the fan.

7. Inspect the filter regularly and replace it when dirt accumulation begins restricting airflow.

Do not operate the ventilation system without a filter installed inside the housing.
