Questions & Answers

  • i have a bad spider mite problem will this work well without hurting my garden?

Captain Jack's Dead Bug Brew is a great solution to begin treatment and its also safe for organic gardening, since its main ingredient contains Spinosad. From many years of experience I have found the best way to control them is to use more then one type of treatment which contains a different active ingredient from the next treatment.  Alternate each week treating with a different Mite control solution for the very best results to erradicate those annoying Mites as they will build a resistance over time to a single Pest Control application.  Each time an Adult mite is exposed to any form of pesticide and survives then lays eggs those newly hatched mites are now much much more resistant to that type of pesticide you used on their parents.  Mites adapt/evolve to survive and they do it at a very fast pace which makes it difficult for gardeners to control mite populations & out breaks.

Other forms of Mite Control solutions that provide great results are:
    1.  Flying Skull Nuke Em  ( OMRI Organic & Very Effective )
    2.  Green Cleaner  ( Even Kills Mite Eggs, but not for use with Fruits or Vegetables )
    3.  Azamax  ( OMRI Organic & Active Ingredient Azodirochtin )

The recommendations have all been tested and approved by our Store Staff at Garden Supply Guys.

I hope this advice will help you win the war on Mites.
