Botanicare Cal-Mag Plus 2-0-0 is a concentrated calcium, magnesium, and iron supplement formulated to help prevent or correct common secondary nutrient deficiencies. Cal-Mag Plus is especially useful when growing in coco coir, using reverse osmosis water, or working with water and growing media that contain low levels of calcium and magnesium. It can be combined with nearly any base nutrient program in hydroponics, soil, soilless mixes, and container gardens.

How to Use Botanicare Cal-Mag Plus

Shake well before every use.

• Standard root-zone application: Mix 1 teaspoon (5 mL) per gallon of water.
• Frequency: Use with every watering as needed, particularly with reverse osmosis water or coco coir.
• Foliar application: Mix 10–15 mL per gallon of water.
• Mixing: Add Cal-Mag Plus to water, mix thoroughly, and then add the remaining components of your nutrient program one at a time.
• Final pH: After all nutrients and supplements are mixed, check and adjust the solution to the target required by your crop, growing medium, and nutrient program. Botanicare’s current product directions specify a final pH of 6.2–7.0.

For foliar use, test the diluted solution on a small area first. Apply during the cooler portion of the light cycle and avoid spraying plants under intense light or excessive heat.
