Cutting Edge Solutions Mag-Amped is a concentrated liquid magnesium and sulfur supplement formulated to support chlorophyll production, photosynthesis, enzyme activity, amino-acid processing, and healthy plant metabolism. Its complexed mineral formula delivers 1% magnesium and 1% sulfur derived from magnesium sulfate for efficient integration into established nutrient programs.

Mag-Amped is useful when plants require additional magnesium without the extra calcium and nitrogen supplied by conventional Cal-Mag products. It can be used throughout the plant life cycle in hydroponics, coco coir, soil, soilless media, drain-to-waste systems, and recirculating reservoirs.

Reservoir Feeding

Mix 2 mL of Mag-Amped per gallon of water. It may be used during all stages of plant growth.

Injection Feeding

For commercial injection systems, set the ratio to 1:2000 or 0.05%.

Foliar Application

Mix 2 mL per gallon of water and apply during vegetative growth or transition. Apply under cool conditions with grow lights off, test a small area first, and avoid spraying developing flowers.

Mixing Guidelines

1. Begin with fresh water.
2. If using Bulletproof Si, add it first and allow it to disperse completely.
3. Add base nutrients individually, mixing thoroughly between components.
4. Add Mag-Amped separately and mix well.
5. Measure EC or ppm, then check and adjust the final pH for your crop and growing medium.

Never combine undiluted nutrient concentrates directly. Always dilute each product separately in water to help prevent precipitation and nutrient lockout.

When Additional Magnesium May Be Needed

Magnesium deficiency commonly appears as yellowing between the veins of older leaves while the veins remain greener. Similar symptoms can also result from incorrect root-zone pH, excessive EC, or nutrient imbalance, so verify growing conditions before increasing the application rate.
