Emerald Harvest Cali Pro Bloom A 3-0-3 is the calcium-, nitrogen-, potassium-, and micronutrient-rich Part A component of the professional Cali Pro two-part flowering nutrient system. It supports healthy plant metabolism, strong tissues, continued chlorophyll production, and productive flower and fruit development throughout the bloom phase.

Bloom A combines high-purity mineral nutrients with chelated iron, copper, manganese, and zinc for reliable availability in hydroponic growing media. Its calcium-rich formula complements the phosphorus, potassium, magnesium, and sulfur supplied by Cali Pro Bloom B.

Important: This Listing Is for Bloom A Only

This product listing includes Emerald Harvest Cali Pro Bloom A only.

Cali Pro Bloom B is required to create the complete two-part flowering nutrient program and is sold separately. Bloom A is not intended to provide complete base nutrition by itself.

Always use equal amounts of Bloom A and Bloom B according to the Emerald Harvest feeding chart.

Key Benefits

  • Professional flowering nutrition: Formulated for productive flowering and fruiting crops.
  • Calcium-rich Part A formula: Supplies calcium for cell-wall strength, structural development, and healthy new growth.
  • Nitrogen support: Maintains chlorophyll production, plant metabolism, and controlled growth during flowering.
  • Potassium nutrition: Supports water regulation, nutrient transport, carbohydrate movement, and plant function.
  • Chelated micronutrients: Supplies iron, copper, manganese, and zinc in forms designed to remain available for root uptake.
  • Balanced two-part design: Complements Bloom B to provide complete flowering-stage base nutrition.
  • Equal-part simplicity: Bloom A and Bloom B are applied at matching rates throughout the flowering schedule.
  • Hydroponic compatibility: Suitable for growing media used in recirculating and drain-to-waste systems.
  • Designed for productive crops: Supports vigorous plants carrying developing flowers and fruit.

Nutrient Sources

Cali Pro Bloom A is derived from:

  • Potassium nitrate
  • Calcium nitrate
  • Urea
  • Cobalt nitrate
  • Iron EDTA
  • Sodium borate
  • Sodium molybdate
  • Copper EDTA
  • Manganese EDTA
  • Zinc EDTA

These ingredients supply the nitrogen, potassium, calcium, and micronutrients that complement the phosphorus- and magnesium-containing Bloom B formula.

Why Bloom A and Bloom B Are Separate

Concentrated calcium can react with concentrated phosphorus and sulfur sources, potentially forming insoluble mineral deposits. The Cali Pro system keeps these ingredients in separate Part A and Part B concentrates to maintain stability during storage.

Once each component has been diluted properly into water, Bloom A and Bloom B work together as a complete flowering base nutrient.

Never combine the two undiluted concentrates directly.

Official Application Rates

Use equal amounts of Cali Pro Bloom A and Cali Pro Bloom B:

  • Flowering Week 1 – Transition: Continue using Cali Pro Grow A and Grow B according to the chart. Do not apply Bloom A or Bloom B yet.
  • Flowering Weeks 2–3 – Early Flowering: Use 5 mL of Bloom A and 5 mL of Bloom B per gallon.
  • Flowering Weeks 4–5 – Mid Flowering: Use 6 mL of Bloom A and 6 mL of Bloom B per gallon.
  • Flowering Weeks 6–7 – Late Flowering: Use 6 mL of Bloom A and 6 mL of Bloom B per gallon.
  • Flowering Week 8 – Ripening: Use 6 mL of Bloom A and 6 mL of Bloom B per gallon.
  • Flowering Week 9 – Final Ripening: Reduce to 1 mL of Bloom A and 1 mL of Bloom B per gallon.

To extend the flowering phase, Emerald Harvest recommends repeating one or more mid-flowering weeks. Monitor plant response, EC, PPM, source-water quality, and growing conditions when extending or intensifying the feeding schedule.

Correct Mixing Instructions

  1. Shake both nutrient containers thoroughly before measuring.
  2. Fill the reservoir or watering container with fresh water.
  3. Add the measured amount of Cali Pro Bloom A to the water first.
  4. Mix thoroughly until Bloom A is completely dispersed.
  5. Add an equal amount of Cali Pro Bloom B.
  6. Mix thoroughly again.
  7. Add compatible supplements individually, stirring between each addition.
  8. Check the completed solution’s EC or PPM and pH before feeding.

Never premix concentrated Bloom A and Bloom B. Part A must be diluted into fresh water before Part B is introduced.

Water Temperature and pH

Emerald Harvest recommends:

  • Nutrient-solution temperature: 60–72°F
  • Final pH after mixing: 5.8–6.3

Add both base nutrient components and any supplements before making final pH adjustments. Add pH adjusters gradually and test between additions.

Transitioning From Cali Pro Grow

Cali Pro Grow A and Grow B are used during vegetative development and the initial flowering transition. According to the current Emerald Harvest feeding chart, growers switch to Cali Pro Bloom A and Bloom B beginning in flowering week two.

Do not stack the complete Cali Pro Grow and Bloom base formulas unless an Emerald Harvest feeding chart specifically directs it. Transition between the two systems according to plant development and the applicable schedule.

Growing Media and System Compatibility

Cali Pro Bloom A and Bloom B are suitable for growing media used in:

  • Recirculating hydroponic systems
  • Drain-to-waste systems
  • Coco coir
  • Rockwool
  • Deep water culture
  • Flood-and-drain systems
  • Drip irrigation and fertigation
  • Other hydroponic and soilless applications

Adjust nutrient strength according to plant variety, source water, growing medium, environmental conditions, and system design.

Using It With Emerald Harvest Supplements

Cali Pro Bloom A and Bloom B can be incorporated into an Emerald Harvest flowering program with products such as Emerald Goddess, King Kola, Honey Chome, Root Wizard, Cal-Mag, and Sturdy Stalk.

Follow the applicable feeding chart and monitor total EC or PPM when combining multiple products. Emerald Harvest recommends applying Cal-Mag and Sturdy Stalk on water-only days and not using both during the same watering.

Important Usage Notes
