Give stressed plants a second chance with FoxFarm Bush Doctor Boomerang. Known as the “Comeback Formula,” this microbial plant supplement provides immediately available nutrition while supporting the root zone during periods of environmental stress, inconsistent care or mineral salt buildup.

With a gentle 2-0.2-0.3 nutrient analysis, Boomerang can be used as a short-term recovery treatment or as a supplemental vegetative feed. It is suitable for in-ground gardens, container plants and recirculating hydroponic systems.

Key benefits:

  • Helps plants recover from temperature fluctuations, neglect and mineral salt stress
  • Provides solubilized nutrition that is immediately available to plants
  • Contains soil microbes that help support the root zone
  • Encourages renewed vegetative growth after stressful conditions
  • Suitable for soil, container gardens and recirculating hydroponics
  • Integrates with FoxFarm feeding programs once plants begin recovering

How to use:

In-ground gardens and container plants:

Mix 2–4 teaspoons (10–20 mL) per gallon of fresh water. Apply once per week until plants show signs of renewed growth and vigor. Once plants have recovered, resume your preferred feeding schedule.

Recirculating hydroponic systems:

Empty the reservoir and refill it with fresh water. Add 1 tablespoon (15 mL) of Boomerang per gallon of reservoir water.

Do not add other fertilizers during the first 2–3 days of treatment. Once plants show signs of recovery, flush the reservoir and gradually reintroduce the regular nutrient program at reduced strength. Adjust feeding rates according to plant response.

Using Boomerang with other FoxFarm products:

Boomerang is designed to fit within a broader FoxFarm feeding program, but it should be treated as a recovery supplement rather than a complete base fertilizer.

  • Big Bloom and Grow Big: Resume these products according to the appropriate FoxFarm vegetative feeding schedule after plants begin recovering.
  • Tiger Bloom and Bembé: Flowering supplements may be gradually reintroduced when recovering plants are actively budding or flowering.
  • Kangaroots and Microbe Brew: These products offer complementary root-zone and microbial support. Follow the FoxFarm feeding schedule to avoid unnecessary overapplication.
  • SledgeHammer: SledgeHammer is a root-zone rinse used to address fertilizer and mineral salt accumulation, while Boomerang supplies recovery nutrition afterward. Follow each product’s directions rather than combining concentrated treatments.
  • Open Sesame, Beastie Bloomz and Cha Ching: Use these bloom boosters sequentially at the appropriate flowering stage and only after stressed plants have recovered.

When combining FoxFarm products, begin with fresh water, add each product separately and follow the appropriate FoxFarm feeding schedule. Never combine undiluted nutrient concentrates directly.
