General Hydroponics CALiMAGic™ 1-0-0 is a concentrated liquid calcium and magnesium supplement formulated to support fast-growing plants and help prevent secondary nutrient deficiencies. Its highly soluble formula supplies readily available calcium and magnesium for strong cell structure, nutrient transport, chlorophyll production and balanced plant development.
CALiMAGic is especially useful with reverse-osmosis water, soft water and coco coir, where calcium and magnesium may be limited or less available. It integrates easily into hydroponic, coco, soil and soilless feeding programs without clogging reservoirs, spray lines or drip emitters.

When to Use CALiMAGic
Fast-growing plants can use calcium and magnesium more quickly than they are supplied by the water source, growing medium or base fertilizer. CALiMAGic helps fill these nutritional gaps during periods of rapid vegetative growth, flowering and fruit development.
It is particularly beneficial when growing with purified or reverse-osmosis water, very soft water, calcium-intensive crops or coco coir. CALiMAGic is a supplement and does not replace a complete base fertilizer.
Application Rates

General use: Mix 5 mL per gallon of water.

Heavy-feeding plants or visible calcium and magnesium deficiencies: Use up to 10 mL per gallon while monitoring EC and plant response.

Coco and hydroponics: Use with regular waterings according to your feeding program.

Soil and container media: Apply as needed according to the product label, feed chart and plant response.
Recommended Mixing Order
- Add your base nutrients to fresh water and mix thoroughly.
- Add CALiMAGic at the appropriate rate and mix again.
- Add other compatible supplements one at a time.
- Check the completed solution’s EC and pH.
- Adjust pH last, after everything is completely diluted.
Never mix CALiMAGic directly with concentrated fertilizers or supplements. Concentrated phosphates or sulfates can react with calcium and cause precipitation. Always dilute each product separately in water and mix thoroughly between additions.
Always follow the product label and your applicable feeding chart. Confirm that symptoms are related to calcium or magnesium availability before increasing the application rate.
