General Hydroponics FloraBloom 0-5-4 Flowering & Fruiting Base Nutrient
Benefits of FloraBloom
- 0-5-4 flowering and fruiting base nutrient
- Contains 1.5% magnesium and 1% sulfur
- Supplies phosphorus and potassium for reproductive growth
- Supports flower development, fruit set and seed production
- Provides nutrients associated with essential oil and fragrance production
- Adjustable ratios accommodate transition, bloom and finishing stages
- Compatible with hydroponics, coco coir, soil and soilless media
- Works as part of the complete FloraSeries 3-part nutrient system
How the FloraSeries System Works
- FloraMicro: Forms the nutritional foundation by supplying nitrogen, potassium, calcium and chelated micronutrients.
- FloraGro: Supports root, stem and foliage development with a vegetative-focused nutrient balance.
- FloraBloom: Supplies phosphorus, potassium, magnesium and sulfur for flowering, fruiting, seed production and essential oil development.
FloraBloom is a core base-nutrient component rather than a standalone bloom booster. Because it contains no nitrogen, it must be combined with FloraMicro and FloraGro according to a complete FloraSeries feeding schedule.
Recommended Mixing Order
- Begin with fresh water.
- Add FloraMicro first and mix thoroughly.
- Add FloraGro and mix thoroughly.
- Add FloraBloom and mix thoroughly.
- Add remaining compatible supplements one at a time.
- Check EC and pH, then make any necessary pH adjustment last.
Never combine undiluted FloraMicro, FloraGro and FloraBloom concentrates directly. Add each component separately to water and mix thoroughly between additions to reduce the risk of mineral precipitation.
Application Guidance
FloraBloom is introduced at lower rates during early growth to maintain nutritional balance. Its proportion generally increases as plants transition into flowering and fruiting, while the relative amount of FloraGro is reduced.
Application rates vary according to growth stage and the selected light, medium or aggressive FloraSeries feeding program. Follow the current General Hydroponics feed chart rather than using one fixed rate throughout the plant’s life.
After mixing the complete nutrient solution, monitor EC and adjust pH for your particular crop, water source, growing medium and irrigation system.
