General Hydroponics FloraGro® 2-1-6 is the vegetative and structural growth component of the customizable FloraSeries® 3-part nutrient system. Its nitrogen-forward nutrient balance supports healthy roots, strong stems and vigorous foliage, helping plants establish the framework needed for later flowering and fruit production.
FloraGro works with FloraMicro® and FloraBloom® to provide adjustable nutrition throughout the growing cycle. By changing the ratio of all three components, growers can tailor their feeding program for seedlings, vegetative development, transition, flowering and finishing.

How the FloraSeries System Works

FloraMicro: Forms the nutritional foundation by supplying nitrogen, calcium and chelated micronutrients.

FloraBloom: Supplies phosphorus, potassium, magnesium and sulfur to support flowering, fruiting and seed production.
FloraGro is not a complete standalone fertilizer. Use it with FloraMicro and FloraBloom according to the appropriate General Hydroponics FloraSeries feeding program.
Recommended Mixing Order
- Begin with fresh water.
- Add FloraMicro first and mix thoroughly.
- Add FloraGro and mix thoroughly.
- Add FloraBloom and mix thoroughly.
- Add any remaining compatible supplements one at a time.
- Check EC and pH, then make any necessary pH adjustment last.
Never combine undiluted FloraMicro, FloraGro and FloraBloom concentrates directly. Always add each product separately to water and mix thoroughly before adding the next component.
Application Guidance
FloraGro rates change throughout the growing cycle and depend on the selected light, medium or aggressive FloraSeries schedule. It is typically emphasized during vegetative growth, then reduced relative to FloraBloom as plants move further into flowering.
Follow the current General Hydroponics FloraSeries feed chart for exact stage-specific rates. Monitor EC, pH, water quality and plant response when selecting a feeding intensity.
