General Hydroponics FloraMicro 5-0-1 Calcium & Chelated Micronutrient Base
Benefits of FloraMicro
- Foundational 5-0-1 component of the FloraSeries system
- Supplies nitrogen, potassium and calcium
- Provides seven important chelated trace elements
- Supports balanced nutrition throughout vegetative growth and flowering
- Helps maintain micronutrient availability in the root zone
- Adjustable ratios accommodate changing plant-growth stages
- Compatible with hydroponics, coco coir, soil and soilless media
Chelated Micronutrient Package
FloraMicro supplies boron, cobalt, copper, iron, manganese, molybdenum and zinc in chelated forms. These trace elements support numerous plant processes and help complete the nutritional profile created by the three FloraSeries components.
How the FloraSeries System Works
- FloraMicro: Supplies foundational nitrogen, potassium, calcium and chelated micronutrients.
- FloraGro: Supports root, stem and foliage development with a vegetative-focused nutrient balance.
- FloraBloom: Supplies phosphorus, potassium, magnesium and sulfur for flowering, fruiting, seed production and essential oil development.
FloraMicro is a core base-nutrient component rather than a complete standalone fertilizer. Use it with FloraGro and FloraBloom according to the appropriate General Hydroponics FloraSeries feeding schedule.
Required Mixing Order
- Begin with fresh water.
- Add FloraMicro first and mix thoroughly.
- Add FloraGro and mix thoroughly.
- Add FloraBloom and mix thoroughly.
- Add remaining compatible supplements one at a time.
- Check EC and pH, then make any necessary pH adjustment last.
Never combine undiluted FloraMicro directly with FloraGro or FloraBloom. Mixing concentrated components together can cause mineral precipitation and reduce nutrient availability.
Standard or Hardwater FloraMicro?
Standard FloraMicro is appropriate for most water sources. General Hydroponics recommends FloraMicro Hardwater when tap water exceeds 200 ppm dissolved solids or contains more than 70 ppm calcium. Testing your water source can help determine the correct formula.
Application Guidance
FloraMicro is used throughout the growing cycle, but its application rate changes according to plant stage and the selected light, medium or aggressive FloraSeries feeding program. Follow the current General Hydroponics feed chart rather than applying one fixed rate throughout the plant’s life.
Monitor EC, pH, water quality and plant response when selecting a feeding intensity.
Jessie was very helpful loading the soil and nutrients that I purchased.
I use this on all plants and they are sooooo green and healthy !!!
