NPK Industries RAW Bloom 3-12-12 is a complete, water-soluble base fertilizer formulated for flowering and fruiting plants. Its low-nitrogen, high-phosphorus and high-potassium analysis supplies the primary, secondary and micronutrients plants need for flower formation, fruit development, carbohydrate movement and late-cycle productivity.

How RAW Bloom Supports Flowering

Official Soil and Coco Feed Schedule
The current NPK Industries soil and coco chart measures RAW Bloom per gallon of water:
- Flowering Week 1: 1 teaspoon per gallon
- Flowering Week 2: 1½ teaspoons per gallon
- Flowering Weeks 3–6: 2 teaspoons per gallon
- Flowering Week 7: 1½ teaspoons per gallon
- Flowering Week 8: Discontinue RAW Bloom and follow the chart’s water-only finish
The chart recommends beginning with a lower nutrient strength and working toward approximately 800–1,000 PPM during flowering. Actual requirements depend on plant variety, source water, growing medium, lighting and environmental conditions.
For soil and coco, fertilize approximately one or two times per week and provide plain water between feedings when needed. Monitor runoff EC or PPM to prevent excessive fertilizer accumulation.
Hydroponic Application
RAW Bloom may also be used in hydroponic and recirculating systems. Begin at the lower end of the recommended concentration and monitor reservoir EC, PPM, pH and plant response before increasing the rate.
Hydroponic systems may require a lower concentration than the published soil and coco schedule. Maintain the pH range appropriate for the specific crop and hydroponic method rather than automatically using a soil-based target.
Recommended Mixing Instructions
- Fill the reservoir or watering container with fresh water.
- Measure RAW Bloom carefully using a clean, dry measuring tool.
- Pre-dissolve the powder in a small amount of water.
- Add the dissolved fertilizer to the main reservoir or watering solution.
- Mix thoroughly until the solution is uniform.
- Add compatible supplements individually, mixing between additions.
- Measure the completed solution’s EC or PPM.
- Check and adjust pH after all fertilizers and supplements have been mixed.
Never combine dry fertilizer powders or concentrated nutrient products directly together. Each product should be dissolved or diluted separately in water.
Using It With RAW Calcium/Mag
Although the RAW Bloom formula supplies magnesium and the manufacturer lists calcium among its elements, the official RAW soil and coco schedule incorporates additional RAW Calcium/Mag during early and middle flowering.
The need for supplemental calcium and magnesium depends on source-water mineral content, growing medium, crop demand and the rest of the fertilizer program. Reverse osmosis water and coco coir may require additional supplementation, while mineral-rich water may require less.
Monitor total EC or PPM and avoid adding calcium or magnesium automatically when the source water and fertilizer program already provide sufficient amounts.
Using It in Custom Fertilizer Programs
RAW Bloom is formulated as a complete flowering base fertilizer. It should not be stacked at full strength with another complete base nutrient program.
Experienced growers may incorporate it into a custom formula, but the combined nitrogen, phosphorus, potassium, magnesium and micronutrient concentrations must be recalculated. Reduce overlapping base fertilizers and monitor EC or PPM to avoid excessive nutrient strength or mineral imbalance.
