Roots Organics 70/30 Coco & Perlite is a professional-grade, free-draining growing media made from 70% washed, age-cured coconut coir and 30% perlite. Naturally buffered with dolomite limestone for pH stability, this ready-to-use coco blend provides the ideal balance of moisture retention, drainage, and oxygen flow for vigorous root development.

Designed for growers who want more control over their feeding program, Roots Organics 70/30 Coco & Perlite works perfectly with liquid nutrients, dry organic amendments, and custom feeding schedules. Its high-airflow structure helps prevent overly wet root zones while still holding enough moisture to support fast-growing, heavy-feeding plants in containers, grow bags, raised planters, greenhouses, and indoor gardens.

Key Benefits

70/30 Coco & Perlite Blend
Combines washed, age-cured coconut coir with perlite for a clean, consistent growing media with excellent air-to-water balance.

Free-Draining Root Zone
The added perlite improves drainage and oxygen retention, helping roots breathe while reducing the risk of waterlogged media.

Naturally Buffered with Dolomite
Dolomite limestone helps support a more stable pH balance right out of the bag.

Great for Custom Feeding Programs
Use with liquid fertilizers, hydroponic nutrients, organic dry amendments, compost teas, and complete nutrient programs.

Ideal for Containers & Grow Bags
Perfect for container gardens, fabric pots, grow bags, greenhouse production, indoor growing, and high-performance soil-less gardening.

Ready to Use
No rinsing, expanding, or pre-mixing required—open the bag, fill your containers, and plant.

How to Use Roots Organics 70/30 Coco & Perlite

Containers & Grow Bags:
Fill containers with Roots Organics 70/30 Coco & Perlite, making sure pots have proper drainage holes.

Transplanting:
Place enough media in the container so the root ball sits slightly below the rim. Position the plant, fill around the roots, and gently firm the media without compacting it.

Watering & Feeding:
Water thoroughly after planting and begin your feeding program according to plant needs. This media is designed to work with liquid nutrients, dry amendments, and custom grow schedules.

Top Space:
Leave 1–2 inches of space at the top of the container to make watering and top-dressing easier.

Best Practice:
Monitor moisture, pH, and nutrient strength regularly, especially when using coco-based media in high-performance growing systems.

Always follow your nutrient program and adjust watering frequency based on plant size, container size, environment, and growth stage.
